Two new songs officially join the station's playlist this week, with another track also entering rotation. Here's some background on the artists and the stories behind each release.

Frank Walker & Alexander Stewart - Missing Piece

Canadian artists Frank Walker and Alexander Stewart reunite for "Missing Piece," released August 28 through Palm Tree Records. The two previously worked together on "Crossfire," which appeared in connection with Walker's ORIGIN project.

Walker is a Toronto-based DJ and producer whose catalog includes "Only When It Rains," "Like Gold" and "I Go Dancing." Stewart is a Toronto-born pop singer-songwriter who initially built an audience by sharing covers online before moving into original music.

"Missing Piece" tells the story of feeling directionless and searching for something meaningful before discovering that a relationship provides what had been absent.

NGHTMRE & Jordin Sparks - No Air

NGHTMRE teams with Jordin Sparks for a new drum-and-bass interpretation of her 2008 hit "No Air." This version features Sparks on her own and was released through Gud Vibrations, the label co-founded by NGHTMRE and SLANDER.

NGHTMRE had reportedly been developing the reworking before Sparks received it and recorded new vocals. They later introduced the collaboration live during NGHTMRE's ILLFest performance.

Sparks first became widely known after winning American Idol at age 17. The original "No Air" became one of her signature releases, reaching #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and receiving a Grammy nomination.

Notable Mention: Justė f/ Sam Harper - Just A Little

While it is not an official station add this week, "Just A Little" by Justė featuring Sam Harper has also entered rotation. The single was released July 3 through Spinnin' Records.

Justė is a Lithuanian artist who established herself in electronic music after moving to Denmark. Her earlier releases include "World of Wonders" and the Jaxstyle and Jon collaboration "Turn the Lights Off."

London-based singer and songwriter Sam Harper is a member of the collective Dopamine. His writing credits include songs performed by BTS, Dimension, Joel Corry, MK and Rita Ora.
