New ElectricFM EDM Music - Week of September 15, 2026
It's another week of new music on ElectricFM, with five songs officially joining our playlist. This week's additions include the return of a longtime dance favorite, new collaborations from Topic, Marshmello and ILLENIUM, plus the latest single from Becky Hill.
We're also adding a new remix from Teddy Swims to rotation. Here's a closer look at everything new on the station this week.
Cascada - Alive
Cascada returns to the playlist with "Alive," released under exclusive license to Universal Music Germany.
Fronted by singer Natalie Horler, Cascada became one of the defining dance acts of the 2000s through songs including "Everytime We Touch," "What Hurts the Most" and "Evacuate the Dancefloor." The group also represented Germany at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest with "Glorious."
"Alive" gives longtime listeners another release from an act closely associated with the international rise of dance-pop while introducing Cascada to listeners who may be discovering the project for the first time.
Topic x carteblanche - Lucky Ones
German producer Topic joins the newly formed duo carteblanche for "Lucky Ones." Interestingly, the song was initially written more like a track for a band before Topic later developed it into a dance record. A7S, a frequent Topic collaborator, was also involved in writing and producing the release.
The idea behind "Lucky Ones" is getting away from everyday pressure, and spending time with friends or someone important without needing anything else. carteblanche said they were preparing to go on vacation when the song was written, which helped influence that feeling of escape and contentment.
Topic is already familiar to dance and pop audiences through international releases including "Breaking Me" and "Your Love (9PM)." His partnership with carteblanche offers another side of his songwriting while introducing listeners to a newer electronic duo.
FAST BOY - Music Sounds
FAST BOY brings "Music Sounds" to the station this week. The group consists of Berlin brothers Felix Hain and Lucas Hain, who are both credited as vocalists and songwriters on the track.
The brothers have become increasingly familiar to dance listeners through releases such as "Bad Memories" with MEDUZA and Elley Duhé, along with their own singles "Forget You" and "Left & Right."
"Music Sounds" is about the way being close to someone can change how an ordinary moment feels. It continues FAST BOY's move from appearing on major collaborations to becoming a more recognizable act in its own right.
Becky Hill - Changes
Becky Hill returns with "Changes," a song about remaining committed to someone while life and the relationship around them continue to change. Hill describes two people dealing with familiar fears, pressure and uncertainty while promising to work through those challenges together.
The song is part of Rebecca, Hill's upcoming third studio album. It follows other music from the project, including "Hands on Me," "More! More! More!" and "What Do I Have to Do?."
Hill first reached a wide audience through the UK edition of The Voice and has since become one of the most recognizable vocalists in contemporary dance music. Her catalog includes collaborations such as "Gecko (Overdrive)" with Oliver Heldens, "Remember" with David Guetta and "Lose Control" with MEDUZA and Goodboys.
Marshmello & ILLENIUM f/ SACHA - Close My Eyes
Two major names in electronic music come together as Marshmello and ILLENIUM release "Close My Eyes" featuring SACHA. It marks their first original collaboration, following ILLENIUM's earlier remix of Marshmello and Khalid's "Silence."
"Close My Eyes" deals with escaping into dreams when reality becomes difficult. SACHA's words describe closing her eyes to return to a place where she can still see and be with someone she misses. The song was first previewed during ILLENIUM's performance at the 2026 Ultra Music Festival in Miami before appearing again during a joint set by the two producers at Red Rocks.
SACHA has become a familiar voice on the station through recent collaborations with Armin van Buuren, Steve Aoki and Ely Oaks. Her appearance here adds another major collaboration to her growing dance catalog.
Also Added to Rotation
Teddy Swims - Mr. Know It All (High Beam Remix)
Although it isn’' an official station add this week, the High Beam Remix of Teddy Swims' "Mr. Know It All" is also being added to rotation. The remix appears as part of the official Mr. Know It All (Remixes) release through Warner Records.
The song looks at someone who repeatedly expects a relationship to go wrong, only to realize that anticipating the outcome doesn't make losing that person any easier. The High Beam Remix gives the original a version designed to fit the EDM sound of ElectricFM.
