Listen In Your Car
It's pretty simple to listen to ElectricFM in your car. If you have one of the apps for ElectricFM, you're almost set! If your device does not have an app, visit the Mobile Access page for the information on how to tune in. Once you can access us, follow these simple steps.
Most newer cars now have "AUX" input jacks on the stereo. Simply connect a cable from the headphones jack on your phone, and plug it into the AUX port in your car. Then, access the AUX input on the car stereo. You should hear the audio! Also, some newer cars have USB input for devices like the iPhone which make setup a breeze.
If you do not have a AUX port, you can purchase a "FM Tuner" that connects with your phone. (Either through its headphones jack or through the main connector.) Then, you select a FM station on the device in which the device will transmit the audio on, and tune into the frequency on your car radio. You should then hear the audio that's playing on the mobile device coming through your car audio system.
It may sound like a lot of work, but it's really pretty simple. More and more people are leaving AM, FM, and satellite radio and are migrating to Internet Radio. Why?
